ABU DHABI (ALETIHAD)
The Abu Dhabi Department of Education and Knowledge (ADEK) unveiled a new digital platform named “Rayah,” which will help parents track their children’s progress at school.
Announced at the Abu Dhabi Government pavilion during GITEX Global, the launch places parents at the centre of their children’s education and aims to shift from passive updates to personalised, real-time engagement.
“Rayah redefines how parents engage with education in Abu Dhabi, through a single, integrated and smart gateway that empowers families with access and a trusted resource,” ADEK statement said. Parents are provided with educational insights to support learning, growth and holistic development of their wards.
Parents can track attendance, grades and school performance in real time and receive early alerts when attendance drops or performance changes, helping them act before outcomes are affected. The platform also enables monitoring of standardised assessments, results and achievements in one place, with tools to benchmark progress across Abu Dhabi by region, curriculum and school fee category.
Rayah supports school choice by offering performance reports that include ADEK policy compliance, Irtiqaa outcomes and the National Identity Mark, giving a clearer view of school quality. Families receive timely notifications linked to school calendars and key events, and can access child development and parenting resources, family learning activities and a range of family-oriented activities, educational events, cultural programmes and exclusive offers.
ADEK said the platform adapts to each child’s learning profile to offer actionable recommendations, simplifying complex data into clear, parent-friendly insights. “Rayah is built on a simple idea: when parents are informed and empowered, children succeed,” said Marwan Othman, Acting Support Services Sector Executive Director. “We’ve designed a platform that takes the stress out of navigating schools and academic data, and turns it into a supportive, personalised experience for every family.”
Parents can download Rayah via the App Store and Google Play, or visit www.rayah.ae to begin using the platform.
