NCM issues weather forecast for August 25-29

ABU DHABI (ALETIHAD)

The National Centre of Meteorology has issued its weather forecast for the period from Monday, August 25 until Friday, August 29, 2025.

The UAE's weather bureau expects conditions to be cloudy over the coming days, with some decrease in temperatures and chance for rainfall.

Monday, August 25

Weather: Humid by morning over the coasts. Fair to partly cloudy and cloudy at times, especially northward and eastward.
Wind: Light to moderate southwesterly to northwesterly winds, freshening at times during the day, with a speed of 10-25 km/h, and reaching 35 km/h.
Sea: Slight in the Arabian Gulf and in the Oman Sea.

Tuesday, August 26

Weather: Humid by morning over the coasts. Fair to partly cloudy and cloudy at times, especially northward and eastward, and might be associated with light rain by morning.
Wind: Light to moderate southwesterly to northwesterly winds, freshening at times during the daytime, with a speed of 10-25 km/h, and reaching 35 km/h.
Sea: Slight in the Arabian Gulf and in the Oman Sea.

Wednesday, August 27

Weather: Humid by morning with a probability of mist formation over some western areas. Fair to partly cloudy and clouds appear  over some eastern areas, and might be convective by afternoon especially over the mountains. Slight decrease in temperatures over some coastal areas, especially westward.
Wind: Light to moderate southeasterly to northeasterly winds, freshening at times during day time, causing blowing dust, with a speed of 10-25km/h, and reaching 40 km/h.
Sea: Slight to moderate in the Arabian Gulf and slight in the Oman Sea.

Thursday, August 28

Weather: Humid by morning with a probability of fog and mist formation over some western areas. Fair to partly cloudy, with a chance of convective clouds formation eastward and southward associated with rainfall.
Wind: Light to moderate southeasterly to northeasterly winds, and fresh at times with the clouds, causing blowing dust and sand, with a speed of 10-25km/h, and reaching 40 km/h.
Sea: Slight to moderate in the Arabian Gulf and slight in the Oman Sea.

Friday, August 29

Weather: Humid by morning with a probability of fog and mist formation over some western areas. Fair to partly cloudy, with a chance of convective clouds formation eastward and southward associated with rainfall.
Wind: Light to moderate southeasterly to northeasterly winds, and fresh to strong at times with the clouds, causing blowing dust and sand, with a speed of 10-25 km/h, reaching 45 km/h.
Sea: Slight in the Arabian Gulf and in the Oman Sea.
