NCM expects partly cloudy, dusty weather in UAE for coming days

ABU DHABI (ALETIHAD)

The National Centre of Meteorology (NCM) released on Saturday a report on the weather forecast from Sunday, August 3 to Thursday, August 7. 

It expects the weather to be humid and partly cloudy by morning over some coastal and internal areas, and dusty at times.

Sunday

Weather: Humid by morning over some coastal and internal areas, Westward with a probability of fog and mist formation – Fair to partly cloudy and hazy at times during daytime with a chance of some convective clouds formation, East and Southward associated with rainfall.

Wind: Light to moderate Southeasterly to Northeasterly winds freshening at times during daytime, causing blowing dust, with a speed of 10 – 25 km/h, reaching 40 Km/hr.

Sea: Slight to moderate at times in the Arabian Gulf and the Oman Sea.

Monday

Weather: Humid by morning over some coastal and internal areas, Westward with a probability of mist formation. Fair to partly cloudy and hazy at times during daytime, with a probability of some convective cloud formation, East and Southward may be associated with rainfall.

Wind: Light to moderate Southeasterly to Northeasterly winds freshening at times during daytime, causing blowing dust, with a speed of 10 – 25 km/h, reaching 40 Km/hr.

Sea: Slight to moderate at times in the Arabian Gulf and the Oman Sea.

Tuesday

Weather: Humid by morning over some coastal and internal areas. Westward - Fair to partly cloudy, and clouds will appear East and Southward may be convective clouds by afternoon.

Wind: Light to moderate Southeasterly to Northeasterly winds freshening at times during daytime, causing blowing dust, with a speed of 10 – 25 km/h, reaching 40 Km/hr.

Sea: Slight to moderate at times in the Arabian Gulf and the Oman Sea.

Wednesday

Weather: Fair to partly cloudy, and clouds will appear Eastward – probability of convective clouds eastward by afternoon.

Wind: Light to moderate Southeasterly becoming Northwesterly winds freshening at times during daytime, causing blowing dust, with a speed of 10 – 25 km/h, reaching 35 Km/hr.

Sea: Slight in the Arabian Gulf and the Oman Sea.

Thursday

Weather: Fair to partly cloudy, and clouds will appear Eastward. It might be convective by afternoon.

Wind: Light to moderate Southeasterly to Northeasterly winds freshening at times during daytime, causing blowing dust, with a speed of 10 – 25 km/h, reaching 35 Km/hr.

Sea: Slight in the Arabian Gulf and the Oman Sea.
